Delivery
Domestic customers are shipped libraries as frozen glycerol suspensions of E. coli transformed with recombinant pUC19. GIS cannot guarantee timely

delivery of glycerol stocks to customers outside the United States because of possible custom delays. Instead, international customers are shipped dried

ligation mix that can be used to regenerate libraries.

Each library is delivered with at least nine sequence electropherograms that indicate the level of enrichment, and information on how to efficiently obtain

additional microsatellite loci.

For most species, GIS delivers libraries in six weeks or less. Occasionally, troublesome species/motif combinations require a longer period. GIS will consult

with the customer to determine the best course of action in those cases.

Additional sequencing, primer design, and testing is usually completed within two weeks of completion of the libraries.
